There are three ways to access a charger from the home screen:
After you select a charger’s location on the map, you will be presented with some basic information, like the address, how many connectors are available, the plug types and the price of a charge.
There is also a button that allows you to open your preferred map (Google or Apple) which then enables you to receive directions to a charger’s location. The distance to a charger is also shown beneath the button.
Once you have selected a charger, you will be able to proceed with a charge:
Yes. You can stop a charge at any time during a charge by tapping on the Stop button at the bottom of the screen. You will need to unlock your vehicle in order to disconnect the cable once you have stopped charging.
Yes, an invoice will be sent to your registered email account after each charge.

You are able to contact Everty by tapping the Support button and then tapping the Email Everty

Yes. EV chargers and cables are designed to be safe and make a watertight fit to your vehicle. In the unlikely event that water may have penetrated the charger to the point that it could be dangerous, the flow of electricity will stop immediately.
Yes. When creating your account, if you ticked the ‘RFID card to start/stop charging sessions’ option, Everty will issue one RFID card, linked to your driver account. To request a second RFID card, simply email support@everty.com.au.
No. The Everty app can only be used at charging stations that are connected to the Everty network.
No. We currently only accept payments via a registered credit card.
No, you are not able to charge two vehicles at the same time with the one app/account.
From time to time some of the public chargers may be made open for free charging by their owners. The Everty Driver App always displays the real-time tariffs that reflect the current pricing set up.
A free user account entitles an EV driver to use a charger free of charge because this EV driver has been granted a certain privilege by the owner of the charger (e.g. EV driver is a tenant in the building where the charger is located). This privilege is usually tied (but not limited) to a particular charging location.
Everty uses Stripe as the payment gateway provider which offers great inbuilt security features. Your payment data is kept secure within the Stripe platform. Everty does not have access to this payment data.
Yes. In order to complete the app authentication process you need to register a valid credit card against your driver account. If you have a free user account, your credit card will not be charged.
Everty processes all RFID card requests using the information entered when you created your account. If your address is incorrect (e.g. missing the unit number), the RFID card will likely be ‘Returned to sender’. Please check your account details in the app. If your address is incorrect or incomplete, email support@everty.com.au with the correct information and a new card will be posted to you.
A tax invoice will be emailed to your registered email address after every charge.

You are able to contact Everty for assistance by tapping on the Support navigation button. It will open your email app and the message will be automatically addressed to support@everty.com.au
If you are having trouble using a charging station, please message Everty. A team member will assist you as quickly as possible.
Check if your car is locked. Most models will have a safety feature where a cable cannot be unlocked if the car itself is locked. This is to ensure that a passerby cannot unplug your car.
Yes. As a courtesy to other drivers wanting to use the charge station, we ask that you move your EV when your charge is complete.
